Green Fuel Alternatives Pvt. Ltd. is a part of KPS Group of Companies, one of the renowned industrial organization having presence in Kurnool, Nandyal and Anantapur districts of Andhra Pradesh. We are a 30-year old industrial organization that has experience in diversified industries such as:

Green Fuel Alternatives Pvt. Ltd. is an EV start-up looking to make a difference in the transportation space through its brand ‘EKOTEJAS’. We at Green Fuels intend to disrupt the automotive industry by making transportation economical and environment friendly. The company was established in the year 2017 and today our manufacturing base is established with an investment of Rs. 10 crores, located in a premises of Ac. 12.00 and a built-up area of 25,000 Sq. ft in Anantapur Dist. Andhra Pradesh, with a current capacity of 720 E-bikes and 100 E-carts per month. We also have the required basic infrastructure to produce 15,000 E-bikes/month. The company is headquartered in Gooty, Anantapur Dist, Andhra Pradesh, with its Corporate Office in Erandwane, Pune.
We have an established dealer presence of nearly 100 dealers in states viz, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Haryana, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. We are one of the fastest growing brand, especially in the states of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

K. Venkatesh Teja, is founder of EKOTEJAS. In the year 2017, he started EKOTEJAS – an E-cargo manufacturing brand, with an aim to bring electric mobility to the poor. K. Venkatesh Teja holds Master’s Degree from University of Westminster, London and graduation from University of Madras, Chennai. Mr. Venkatesh Teja belongs to an industrial family business house that has been operating diversified manufacturing industries for over 2 decades such as steel, Edible oil. Power generation, sugar, transformers etc. The business group was one of the top-most edible oil extractors in southern Andhra Pradesh. Their experience has helped them in taking over the 30-year defunct sugar plant in 2003, from Govt. of AP. which was brought to operation in just 180-days of taking over. The unit was oper
During his tenure, Mr. Teja had special attention towards by-product value addition and spear headed a particle board manufacturing industry, using sugarcane bagasse as raw material. Mr. Teja also played a key role in operating and managing the family-owned Steel plant, which he recently took over completely from his predecessors. His notable achievement in the unit lies in updating the management and information system in the unit to a completely automated and cloud-based system.
He later joined hands with Mr. Shriyal Thakre, who is currently serving as Director (sales) in EKOTEJAS. The duo diversified the product portfolio to EV 2 wheelers in 2021. Within just 1-year the company has Dealer presence in over 10 states.

Mr. Shriyal M.Thakrey joined EKOTEJAS as Director (Sales) in 2021,
heading the company’s Corporate Office in Pune. Under his leadership, the company has grown manifold increasing its presence PAN India. Mr. Thakrey started his working career in as full-time consultant in M/s Adecco India HR Solutions, a Fortune 500 recruitment company. He later entered the business world in the year 2009, by starting his own recruitment firm – M/s SMT HR Management. The firm went on to place over 7.500 job seekers and high skilled professional candidates in diversified industries such as automobila, automobile component, banking, retail, etc. His candidates now include various top level managers in various MNCs and private banks such as ICICI, HDFC. etc.
His entrance in EV industry was in the year 2018, when he joined M/s Tunwal E-vehicles Private Limited, Pune as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He was responsible for complete end-to-end management of Tunwal with higher contribution towards Marketing. Sales. Dealer development. overseas sales. apart from supply chain. HR. production, etc. Noting his contribution, in just 1-year, he was promoted to Addl. Director in 2019. During his tenure, Tunwal had seen a 7X YoY increase in sales, developing PAN India dealer network. He played a key role in increasing the dealer network. During his tenure, the brand had also seen its presence in overseas markets like Sri lanka and Nepal.
In 2021 Mr. Thakrey joined EKOTEJAS as Director (sales) and is responsible for all of the company’s sales, marketing and allied activities, including end-to-end management of EKOTEJAS dealer network. Dealer development, sales, service and support PAN India. Mr. Thakrey is heading EKOTEJAS’ Pune division and is playing a key role in the continued development of strategic reseller and supplier relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace. Mr. Thakrey is flexible to handle changes. He is able to turn around working environment and develop a very supportive team. He provides end to end support for resolving issues and service-oriented approach.
